I’m recruiting across Building Inspector, Senior Building Inspector and Specialist Building Inspector levels for permanent opportunities in Birmingham.
These positions sit within an established Building Control service, offering the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of projects throughout the city. You’ll be responsible for helping ensure developments comply with Building Regulations, providing technical advice and working closely with clients, designers, developers and contractors.
At Building Inspector level, you’ll manage your own caseload within your registered competence, reviewing applications, assessing plans and carrying out inspections at key stages of construction.
As you move into the senior and specialist positions, you’ll take responsibility for increasingly complex projects, provide technical guidance to colleagues and stakeholders, and support the resolution of more challenging regulatory and compliance matters.

Senior level: £45,091 to £53,460 + £5,000 Market Supplement, minimum Class 2B-F registration
