Job summary

Vertex Services Group Ltd is seeking a Fabric Engineer to join our engineering team in Reading. You will perform reactive and planned fabric maintenance to support a safe, efficient building environment for occupiers of the estate.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with a £35,000 basic salary. You will prioritise health and safety, build strong client relationships, and manage procurement of materials and tools for responsive maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of building services systems.
• Commitment to health and safety compliance.
• Ability to work within an estate environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with the Client, Property Managers and team members.
• Ensure the visitor experience on site is of the highest standard.
• Promote innovation and best practice to maximise the client asset potential.
• Ensure health and safety and safe working practices are followed.
• Deliver reports to the client in a timely, clear and professional manner.
• Maintain safety of occupiers, visitors and staff and uphold emergency procedures.
