Overview

Building Fabric Engineer, Bristol area. Salary £36-40k depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance – fixing leaks, doors, locks, and general repairs.
• Small and minor works projects – refurbishments to rooms and offices, replacing doors, locks, sinks, basins, and toilets.
• Floor upgrades.
• Work across commercial buildings, including offices, leisure centres, and schools.

Qualifications

• Carpentry or Plumbing qualifications with additional trade skills such as painting, patch plastering, and tiling.
• Qualified tradesperson with City & Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing.
• Strong skills in other trades and DITY tasks.
• Previous multi‑skilled trades experience; no training will be provided – skill development offered after probation.
• Time‑served tradespersons and general builders are also welcome to apply.
