Job summary

The City of London Building Control team seeks a Building Inspector candidate with an accredited degree in Building Surveying or related field. You will contribute to ensuring building safety and compliance while working with design and construction professionals.

Opportunity to undertake professional studies toward chartered status, supported by the Environment Department, with a focus on modern and innovative inspection techniques.

Qualifications

Hours of Work/Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 9:15am – 5:00pm

The Environment Department is responsible for the delivery of a range of services for the built environment including a high-quality Building Control service within the Square Mile and beyond. This is operated by the District Surveyor's Office which is the leading provider of Building Control services within the City of London and has a long history of working on prestigious projects.
