Salary: Circa £32,000

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by one of the UK's largest real estate organisations to identify a new Building and Fire Safety Coordinator. The organisation has a multibillion‑pound turnover and specialises in a wide variety of commercial and residential property. This role will be working across their residential portfolio in Manchester.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Fire Safety Manager in implementing and monitoring fire and building safety legislation
  • Conduct inspections, identify risks
  • Collaborate with teams and consultants on fire and structural safety
  • Maintain records, draft reports and stay current with fire safety legislation and best practice
Qualifications
  • Qualified working towards a fire safety certification and relevant professional membership (e.g. NEBOSH Fire or equivalent, IFE)
  • Knowledge of key fire safety legislation, guidance and standards with problem‑solving skills
  • Experience in Fire Risk Assessments, remedial works and maintenance of fire safety systems
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and build effective stakeholder relationships
