Cosmo Glasgow Silverburn is seeking a Restaurant Buffet Assistant to help setup, maintain and replenish our World Buffet service with fresh, visually appealing dishes throughout service.

You will deliver friendly, attentive customer service in a fast-paced environment, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards while supporting kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organise buffet stations, ensuring food is fresh, stocked and visually appealing.
• Assist guests by answering questions and offering suggestions when necessary.
• Replenish food items and maintain cleanliness around the buffet area.
• Clear plates, glasses and cutlery from tables and buffet area promptly.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic buffet station following food safety protocols.
• Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service.
• Help with post-service cleanup, restocking, cleaning and resetting the buffet area.
• Provide top-tier customer service and ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Job Description

As a Restaurant Buffet Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our buffet service. Your main responsibilities will include setting up, maintaining, and clearing the buffet, ensuring that food is fresh, presentable, and continuously replenished throughout service, all while delivering excellent customer service.
