Job summary

Bucks Students' Union is seeking a Bucks Student Editor for remote work with the High Wycombe campus. The Editor will oversee the Bucks Student newspaper, coordinating with the Graphic Designer to plan editions and ensure strong copy.

REMOTE/HIGH WYCOMBE CAMPUS

Working closely with the Students’ Union Graphic Designer, the Editor oversees the organisation and production of the Bucks Student newspaper. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a passion for writing, a keen eye for grammar, is able to work to tight deadlines and wants to gain valuable experience working with an established publication.

Key responsibilities include:

• recruiting and encouraging other students to write articles for the paper
• producing layout plans for each edition
• researching articles
• generating content
• editing content
• proofreading
• helping promote the newspaper around campus and digitally.
