## Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Bucket Operator/Climber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Tree work and bucket truck operation as well as Climber ability and experience.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for career growth and development. The pay rate is based on experience but we offer a base rate to all applicants.

## Responsibilities

• Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, may include some weekend days.
• Must be able to work outside under hard weather conditions (summer heat and cold winter days)
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulations
• Must be able to properly, efficiently, and safely work with hand saws, pole pruners, loppers, and chainsaws.
• Maintain a valid state issued driver’s license.
• Understands or willing to learn and operate large equipment such as but not limited to chippers, trucks, stump grinders, etc.
• Executes lock out / tag out procedures on small equipment.
• Inspect climbing gear and tree care equipment to be sure that all equipment and tools are safe and in working order.

## Skills

• Bucket truck experience needed, at least 2 years of experience in cutting, trimming trees from a bucket truck.
• Ability and experience climbing trees focused on tree trimming/cutting, using adequate techniques and minimum supervision.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage a team
• Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
