An educational assessment company is looking for a Content Author to create high-quality learning materials. The role requires excellent communication skills and understanding of vocational qualifications in the science sector. This temporary position involves writing educational materials at Level 3/A Level vocational standard and adhering to strict quality guidelines. Applications close on 30 November 2025.

The Content Author is there to produce error-free, factually accurate learning and assessments materials that align with given subject and writing guidance.

Experience:
As a representative of the company, you will be expected to have experience in, or be able to demonstrate the ability of the following:
Essential:
Must have an understanding and experience of working within an applied science vocational sector (biology and/or chemistry and/or physics) and/or have taught this subject to learners aged 14-19. Must have a good understanding of vocational qualifications in the science sector
Desirable
You have written educational materials and are adept at summarising materials and creating educational materials
Applied science (biology and/or chemistry and/or physics) teaching experience or working in a scientific industry not required but preferred
This is a temporary position for a current development project.. You must be able to write at Level 3/A Level vocational standard

There is a written task to be completed as part of the application for this role. This is an occasional working role, tied to discrete contracts of work and a specific qualification development project.
