The Role

This school is looking for experienced BSL Teaching Assistants to join their team working with pupils with hearing impairments. Ideally, you will have BSL Level 3 or higher and preferably a background in a school setting or working with children. You will assist in 1-to-1 or group settings, supporting communication and learning. This is a long-term role starting ASAP with a potential to become permanent.

The School

This is a school of the deaf in Haringey, catering to 85 pupils aged 3‑16. The school has an extensive team that helps in classrooms, ensuring each classroom is well cared for. The school is a Good rated Ofsted institution and all pupils are learning or already communicating through BSL. Ability to drive is preferred due to location.
