Overview

Broking Support x 2 – Cheltenham. Salary c. £30k.

Both roles are replacements for current team members who are progressing into Account Handler/Junior Broker roles. If you want more than “just a support role” — and you're serious about building a career in commercial insurance — this is where it starts. Our Brokers are the heartbeat of our business — and as Broking Support, you'll be the engine that keeps everything moving. You'll work side-by-side with expert Brokers, helping deliver standout service while building the skills you need to step into an Account Handler or Junior Broker role. This is a fast-paced, process-driven role with just enough client exposure to keep things interesting — perfect for someone who loves getting things right and wants a clear career path in insurance.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Running quotes through open-market portals
  • Capturing risk details and producing sharp quotation reports
  • Chasing insurers for terms and renewals
  • Using Acturis to create policies, raise invoices, and process acceptances
  • Handling MTAs like a pro
  • Preparing policy packs, cover notes and confirmations
  • Creating key docs (No Claims, NDAs, “To Whom It May Concern” letters)
  • Keeping data clean, accurate, and compliant
  • Jumping into team projects when needed
Must-Haves
  • Experience using Acturis
  • Some insurance knowledge already under your belt
  • Razor-sharp attention to detail
  • Strong organisation and time-management skills
  • Happy juggling tasks in a busy environment
  • A collaborative, team-first mindset
Nice-to-Haves
  • Exposure to commercial insurance or client support
  • HubSpot experience
  • Ambition to move into broking (we LOVE this !)
