We're Hiring: Broker – Marine, Energy & Technical Lines

We are seeking a talented and motivated Reinsurance Broker to join our expanding Marine, Energy & Technical Lines Team. The ideal candidate will have experience of the insurance and reinsurance space, preferably with Specialties knowledge.

This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals eager to grow within the reinsurance industry. You will benefit from mentorship, exposure to a variety of transactions, and the chance to build a solid foundation for a successful career in reinsurance broking. The role is based in London.

We will count on you to:

• Assist in the preparation of placement slips, cover notes, and contractual documentation.
• Assist with reviews of client renewal information.
• Initiate the contract drafting process, updates, and production of final contract documentation.
• Develop and enhance client and market presentations.
• Contribute actively to a high-performing team environment.
• Regularly update management on issues, progress, and key developments.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and reinsurance companies to facilitate efficient communication of client demands and requests.
• Adhere to Guy Carpenter and Marsh McLennan’s world-class protocols and standards.

• Experience of working in reinsurance with knowledge of treaties.
• End-to-end account handling expertise.
• Exemplary analytical and numerical skills.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

• Willingness to engage with international clients and markets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
