Howden, a global insurance group, is seeking a dedicated Insurance Administrator to support the Sport & Entertainment team in the UK. You will help place risks with insurers and assist with new business, renewals and mid-term changes while ensuring pricing and cover meet client needs.
You’ll contribute to team meetings, monitor new business and renewals, manage tasks independently, and maintain compliance and documentation. Hybrid working is available.

Supports the Sport & Entertainment team and works with specifically assigned clients, to place risks with insurers to deliver an excellent and comprehensive service in the administration of new business, renewal and mid-term changes. Negotiates effective terms to ensure client needs are best met in relation to suitable pricing and cover.
Contribute to team meetings, share market insights, and resolve client issues.
Monitor new business and renewals for effective planning.
Independently manage tasks and support research for product development.
Oversee assigned projects and assist in others as needed.
Provide relevant management updates and review client documentation.
Develop solutions, placing strategies, and negotiate insurance terms.
Maintain market intelligence and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with markets, clients, and internal teams.
Ensure accurate documentation, compliance, and due diligence.
Manage data entry, credit control, and record-keeping.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Experience in a similar role with knowledge of insurance principles, regulations, and markets.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to change.
Customer-focused with attention to detail and team collaboration.
Computer literate with relevant system knowledge.
Qualifications: GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent), LLMIT, and ACII (preferred but not essential).
