Ad Warrior Ltd is seeking an Assistant Farm Manager to support the Farm Manager on a commercial broiler operation in Thirsk. You will supervise staff, monitor flock performance, and help ensure optimal bird health, welfare, and production efficiency.

The role requires hands-on farm work, flexibility including weekends, and basic record-keeping. The salary is up to £34,000 per annum with a bonus potential, and on-site duties at the poultry farm.

Qualifications

• Poultry Passport completed or in progress.
• Proven experience in broiler production or poultry farm management.
• Strong understanding of broiler nutrition, health, and welfare.
• Able to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Basic computer skills for record keeping and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day broiler farm operations and staff supervision.
• Monitor feeding, watering, ventilation, and lighting systems.
• Track flock performance and maintain production records.
• Enforce biosecurity, hygiene, and waste management.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, report maintenance issues.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
