Job summary

Pilgrims Europe invites applications for a Farm Manager role within our Broiler team. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the Broiler Farm, including stock quality, welfare, health, safety and the achievement of budgetary targets.

You will manage records, environmental systems, feed, water and ventilation, and you will lead and develop a small team, with a Level 3 Poultry Passport being preferred. A dwelling on site is available and a performance bonus scheme is offered.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Poultry Passport Qualification.
• Full Driving Licence.
• Budget management experience.
• People management experience.
• Knowledge of environmental issues.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the Broiler Farm to meet weight, quality, health, welfare and safety standards.
• Manage budgets and the financial performance of the farm.
• Lead and develop a team, coordinating work across staff to ensure continuous operation of each farm.
• Maintain accurate records of birds, feed, water, and environmental controls; monitor alarms and respond as needed.
• Ensure welfare is at the forefront in all duties and promote high standards of animal care.
