Job summary

A leading broadcasting equipment manufacturer is seeking a Technical Support and Commissioning Engineer based in Reading. The role focuses on providing exceptional technical support to broadcast clients across the UK and Europe, requiring a mix of technical knowledge in audio/video systems and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have a background in Electronics or a related field, with hands-on experience in supporting complex technical systems.

Qualifications

• Experience testing, servicing and/or commissioning video and audio systems.
• Eagerness to learn technical aspects of baseband and IP based products.
• Must have good interpersonal & communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first class technical onsite support and service to customers.
• Visit customer’s premises to commission equipment.
• Provide direct phone and email-support for our customer base.

Skills

Good working knowledge of video and audio infrastructures

Good computer and networking knowledge

Fluent in English

Education

Education in Electronics or Electronic Engineering
