Job summary

The BBC is offering an apprenticeship that lets you learn on-the-job while working toward a recognised qualification. You’ll rotate between the Wood Norton and Birmingham offices, gaining exposure to Broadcast Support and Production Systems.

You’ll study in blocks at Birmingham City University across topics such as Audio/Video Engineering, IP Networks and Broadcast Technology, with hands-on practice and industry mentoring throughout the scheme.

Qualifications

• We’re looking for potential and transferable strengths, not only formal qualifications.
• Eligible applicants must meet age, UK residency and full-work eligibility criteria.
• Must have Maths/English GCSE and UCAS points, plus engineering maths-related qualification.

Responsibilities

• Learn on-the-job across BBC TV, radio and digital platforms.
• Rotate between Wood Norton and Birmingham offices to gain broad exposure.
• Develop operational and engineering skills while studying for an apprenticeship qualification.
