Job summary

Synthires is seeking remote evaluators for an AI training project focused on British English audio recordings. You will listen to short samples and assess pronunciation, accents, naturalness, and overall audio quality to provide accurate feedback.

Ideal candidates have strong listening and analytical skills, English proficiency at B2 or higher, excellent written communication, and the ability to work independently from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Listen to and evaluate short British English audio recordings.
• Assess whether speech sounds natural and native to British English.
• Evaluate pronunciation, accent, fluency, tone, and speech patterns.
• Identify unnatural, inconsistent, or incorrect spoken elements.
• Provide clear, structured feedback on recordings.
• Follow project guidelines and maintain evaluation accuracy and consistency.

Required Qualifications

• Strong understanding of British English pronunciation, accents, and natural speech patterns.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.
• Excellent listening and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to successfully complete the required screening test.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as a voice actor, voice coach, audio engineer, or similar professional.
• Background in voice-over, speech analysis, audio engineering, or sound production.
• Experience in linguistics, phonetics, language teaching, media, or communications.
• Previous experience evaluating speech or audio recordings.

Compensation

$40-$65 per hour, depending on expertise and experience.
