Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for our Bristol BS13 service. You will be involved in day-to-day support, promoting independence and helping residents live fulfilling lives in a learning disability/care setting.

You will assist with health care, personal care, budgeting and daily tasks, while encouraging hobbies and routines. This role is based on site in Bristol and requires driving to support people in the community.

Qualifications

• Experience in support work with adults or learning disabilities.
• Must be able to drive.
• Reliable and patient with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and routines for people in the service.
• Promote independence and help residents lead fulfilling lives.
• Support the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Help with health care needs, including accompanying to appointments and administering medication.
• Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assist with personal care, domestic tasks like cleaning and cooking.
