Pertemps Bristol Industrial is seeking a Sewing Machinist in Bristol for a permanent, full-time role. You will operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture bespoke PVC and canvas products, following customer specifications and production instructions.

A collaborative team environment and long-term stability are highlighted in this opportunity. The position offers Monday to Thursday 07:00-17:00 and Friday 07:00-16:30 with a £15.00 per hour pay and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating industrial sewing machines is essential.
• Experience working with PVC, canvas or heavy-duty materials is advantageous.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Comfortable working within an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture bespoke products.
• Produce interior and exterior fabric products to customer specifications.
• Follow production instructions and meet quality standards.
• Conduct basic machine checks and report faults as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
• Work with the wider team to achieve production targets.
• Ensure products are completed accurately and efficiently.
