Job summary

Pure Staff Driving is seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for local deliveries in Bristol. You will operate a modern Class 1 artic flatbed with cage sides, delivering palletised and boxed aggregate to builders' merchants, with typical local routes and a 06:30 start, finishing around 16:30–17:00.

Expect around 3 deliveries per day and duties include load securing and daily vehicle checks. We offer day shifts Monday to Friday with regular weekly pay and a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A valid Driver CPC / DQC
• A minimum of 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• Confidence securing and strapping loads
• Good understanding of Drivers' Hours and Working Time regulations
• A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude
• Previous flatbed, builders' merchant, aggregate or load-strapping experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Complete local deliveries of palletised and boxed aggregate to builders' merchants
• Strap and secure loads for transit
• Drive a modern Class 1 artic flatbed with cage sides
