Support Worker Wanted – Skilled, Kind, Reliable

Boston Spa £15.69/hour (day) | £12.21/hour (sleep‑in)

We’re looking for kind, skilled and reliable support workers to join a small, friendly team supporting Francesca — a sociable young woman in her early 20s who loves going to her groups, taking part in activities, and enjoying relaxed time at home. This is a meaningful role where the right person can make a real difference in her everyday life.

Available Roles

1:1 Core Support Worker (Main Carer Role)

  • Regular weekly shifts
  • One full day + a sleep‑in each week
  • Option to add a shorter second day (around 10 hours)
  • You’ll be Francesca’s main support for the day — providing personal care, medical support and taking her to activities.
  • Must be a confident driver of a manual car.
  • Ideal for someone looking for steady, regular hours and a key role in her team.

2:1 Team Member (Additional Support Role)

  • Monday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday
  • 6–8 hour daytime shifts (per day)
  • Work alongside the 1:1 carer as the second support worker — helping with activities, personal care, and safety in the community.
  • Looking for people to cover these days — you don’t need to be available for all of them.
  • Ideal for those looking for part‑time, flexible hours.
About Francesca

Francesca enjoys horse riding, swimming, trips to the farm, cinema visits, and her regular groups and day activities. She also loves quiet time at home — relaxing, listening to music, or spending time with her dog. This is a rewarding role supporting someone with complex medical needs in both home and community settings.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or complex health needs
  • Confidence with care routines and medical protocols (training can be provided)
  • A calm, kind, and reliable approach
  • Patience, good communication, and team spirit
  • Someone who enjoys both active days and quieter time at home
The Role Includes
  • Person-centred care in a warm, respectful environment
  • Supporting Francesca to engage in meaningful activities
  • Working both in the home and out in the community
  • Being part of a stable, supportive team
