Job summary

P James Construction Ltd is seeking an experienced bricklayer to join our site team in Newcastle upon Tyne. You will lay brick and blockwork to a high standard, read drawings and set out work accurately.

You must be reliable, capable of working independently or in a team, and committed to safe, quality workmanship. CSCS certification is ESSENTIAL, and you will help keep the site tidy and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Experienced in bricklaying and general masonry work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work to deadlines and manage workloads effectively.

Responsibilities

• Carry out bricklaying, blockwork and masonry work to a high standard.
• Read and work from drawings, plans and specifications.
• Set out work accurately and ensure levels and measurements are correct.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site requirements.
• Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
