Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group in Aldershot is seeking an experienced bricklayer for a temporary, full-time role. The position involves a mix of face work and brickwork on site, with an emphasis on safety and reliability.

You will need a valid CSCS card, be able to work at pace with the gang or alone, bring your own tools and PPE, and arrive on time for site shifts, with duties as directed by the site manager.

Qualifications

Do currently work in or have a passion for Construction? Are you a Bricklayer currently looking for work? Do you hold a valid CSCS card? If the answers are yes, we have roles opening with a reputable Construction company in the Aldershot area

*Role: Bricklayer
*Location: Aldershot
*Contract type: Temporary (Full time)
*Duration: TBC
*Start date: ASAP
*Pay rate: £220 - £230 per day

The company:

A well-established regional subcontractor working across a mix of projects ranging from commercial projects to new build residential.

The role:

This role will involve a mix of facework and brickwork being able to work alone or as part of a gang. Experience is essential for this role and would require you to work at the same pace as the other gangs on site.

About you:

• You will have previous experience working as a bricklayer and be able to demonstrate this through references.


• You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside them.


• You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in a Bricklaying position


• Be able to set out independently.


• You will have a CSCS card (A NVQ in Bricklaying would be beneficial)
