Dovetail & Slate Ltd in Nottingham is seeking a practical, hands-on workshop assistant to support brickwork education at a Further Education provider. You'll work with lecturers to ensure learners have the tools, materials, and guidance to develop bricklaying skills in a safe training environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining brickwork workshop standards, demonstrating tool usage, supervising student activities, managing stock of bricks, blocks, mortar and consumables, and ensuring

Formación

• Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Site or labouring experience within brickwork or construction.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong understanding of workshop health and safety.

You'll provide technical and instructional support within brickwork workshops at a further education provider, helping to maintain high standards of practical training and safe working environments. Working alongside lecturers, you'll ensure learners have the tools, materials and support they need to develop their trade skills.

What We're Looking For
