Job summary

Bromley Healthcare is seeking an Infant Feeding Practitioner (Band 3) to work within the Public Health Nursing service in Greenwich. The role involves supporting breastfeeding, leading infant feeding groups, and delivering antenatal education across the borough.

The post is 15 hours per week on a part-time basis, with NHS-aligned terms and flexible working options. Applicants should have UNICEF Baby Friendly credentials and NHS experience where possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in NHS or similar environment.
• Experience supporting pregnant and breastfeeding service users.
• Knowledge of UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote breastfeeding in the Borough of Greenwich.
• Offer one-to-one and group Infant Feeding support.
• Support services to UNICEF Baby Friendly Standards.
• Deliver antenatal education, targeting hard-to-reach areas.
• Upskill current workforce in Infant Feeding roles.
