Job summary

Neko Health seeks an experienced Locum Ultrasound sonographer in Birmingham to conduct breast ultrasound examinations as part of a clinical research study. You will work with the principal investigator to ensure research-grade assessments and timely reporting.

This fixed-term role is based at our Birmingham clinics, performing and interpreting scans for adult women in the study. The ideal candidate will be HCPC-registered as a radiographer (or equivalent), hold a CASE-accredited postgraduate

Qualifications

• HCPC-registered radiographer with a CASE-accredited breast ultrasound qualification.
• Minimum two years' full-time breast scanning experience.
• Experience reporting autonomously within NHS Breast Screening Programme or QA framework.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic breast ultrasound examinations following guidelines.
• Interpret and report ultrasound findings with timely delivery to CRF.
• Work with PI and research team to ensure research-grade assessments and reports.
• Pass study-specific acquisition and interpretation tasks and file certificates.
• Maintain equipment QA and liaise with study team as needed.
• Adhere to study SOPs and data entry requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary research team on trial-related activities.
