Job summary

University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group is seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support the breast surgery service and mastalgia pathway. You will lead clinics, assess and manage patients, and work with consultants to deliver high-quality breast care across Northamptonshire.

The role requires advanced nursing credentials, non-medical prescribing where possible, and leadership in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment to improve patient outcomes and service

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with advanced practice credentials.
• Experience in breast surgery or mastalgia pathways preferred.
• Non-Medical Prescriber qualification is advantageous and may affect banding.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical care within the breast surgery pathway.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment for breast patients.
• Make independent clinical decisions with senior support.
• Teach and mentor staff to promote quality of care.
• Work with multidisciplinary team to deliver best-practice care.
• Run clinics across Northamptonshire as required.
