Job description

To provide a full and comprehensive secretarial, administrative and reception service to patients, the clinical team and department including all tasks associated with the invitation and results processes for the breast screening programme, complex histology data inputting and clinic preparation in order to maintain an effective and efficient service as required for the Dudley, Wolverhampton and South-West Staffordshire Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Service.

To support the Band 4 post holders by picking up delegated tasks as and when required.

The post holder may be required to travel across Dudley, Wolverhampton and South-West Staffordshire to ensure robust cross‑cover administrative arrangements.

We are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Breast Screening Service as a Band 3 Administrator reporting to the Office Manager. The hours of work are 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, based at Cannock Chase Hospital, Cannock. There may be a requirement to work from our admin office based at Russell's Hall Hospital in Dudley on occasion.

Responsibilities
  • Provide a full and comprehensive secretarial and administrative service to the clinical team and department including all tasks associated with the invitation and results processes for the breast screening programme.
  • Support Band 4 post holders by picking up delegated tasks as and when required.
  • Travel across Dudley, Wolverhampton and South‑West Staffordshire to ensure robust cross‑cover administrative arrangements.
  • Work flexibly across the four partner Trusts to better meet patient and service needs.
Working Hours & Location

Hours of work are 22.5 hours per week over 3 days, based at Cannock Chase Hospital, Cannock. There may be a requirement to work from our admin office based at Russell's Hall Hospital in Dudley on occasion.
