Job summary

Barking Havering and Redbridge University NHS Trust is seeking a Band 7 Breast Nurse Specialist to support the Breast pathway and Mastalgia services. The role focuses on clinical leadership within the breast care pathway and coordination of patient journeys in collaboration with medical and nursing teams.

You will deliver expert nursing care, update skills, and act as a role model for service development. A fixed-term contract for 12 months is offered with potential extension subject to needs.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with 1st level NMC Registration.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development in breast care.
• Counselling skills training is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing care to patients with breast conditions.
• Lead and support the Breast pathway and One Stop Breast Service.
• Collaborate with MDT to coordinate patient treatment journeys.
