Job summary

Dumbleton Hall’s Breakfast Restaurant is seeking a friendly team member to welcome guests, seat them with warmth, and deliver attentive breakfast service that starts the day for every guest. The role emphasizes polished hospitality in a historic setting.

Hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, five days a week, at the heart of the Cotswolds. Previous hospitality experience is valuable but not essential; a positive attitude and reliability matter most for this role.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or service experience encouraged but not required.
• Able to work early mornings and long shifts with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and seat guests with warmth and care.
• Deliver attentive breakfast service front of house.
• Help prepare and set the restaurant ahead of morning service.
• Coordinate with kitchen for smooth, timely service.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond with discretion.
• Uphold standards of presentation, cleanliness, and attention to detail.

We are looking for a passionate Breakfast Restaurant team member to help bring this story to life, every morning, for every guest.

The Role

• Hours: 7:00 am – 4:00 pm
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Location: Dumbleton Hall, in the heart of the Cotswolds

You will be at the centre of our guests' first impression each day — welcoming them by name, anticipating their needs, and delivering breakfast service that feels personal, polished, and effortless. From the first cup of coffee to the last table cleared, you help set the standard for the whole house.

What You'll Do

• Welcome and seat guests with warmth, care, and genuine hospitality
• Deliver attentive, knowledgeable breakfast service, front of house
• Help prepare and set the restaurant ahead of morning service
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth, well-timed service
• Anticipate guest needs and handle requests with grace and discretion
