Job summary

Accor in Cardiff is seeking a passionate Commis chef for a fast-paced kitchen. You will take pride in delivering high culinary standards and work well in a team to support busy service.

You should have at least 1 year in a commercial kitchen; hotel experience is a plus. Be flexible with shifts, including early starts from 4:30 am, and maintain food safety and cost awareness. Join a global hospitality group offering growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a commercial kitchen environment.
• Experience within a hotel environment is an advantage.
• As with the hospitality industry you will be available to work various rostered shifts.
• Understanding of safety and manual handling requirements.
• Remain calm and effective in high volume work situations.
• Be a good team player; contribute to and assist co-workers without being asked.
• Flexibility to work a rotating rota on mornings and be able to start as early at 4:30 am.
