Job summary

Torfaen County Borough Council's Schools Catering Team is seeking a Breakfast Club Assistant to help serve breakfast meals at Ysgol Panteg in Pontypool. The role is a five‑hour post, part of the school catering operation, and will require careful record‑keeping.

You will observe hygiene and health and safety procedures, ensure safe use of all kitchen equipment, and undertake any training the Catering Manager considers necessary. Welsh language skills are welcome but not required.

Job description

Breakfast Club Assistant in the Schools Catering Team at Ysgol Panteg, part of Torfaen County Borough Council. The work centres on helping to serve breakfast meals while following hygiene, health and safety and food safety rules, and keeping accurate records. It is a five-hour post, subject to an Enhanced DBS check, as the role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Welsh language skills are welcome but not required.
