Job description

You will:

• Set up the Breakfast Club space, prepare and serve simple nutritious breakfast items, and take accurate registers.
• Welcome and supervise pupils (including EYFS once open), promoting positive behaviour and routines.
• Lead quiet, age appropriate activities that build social skills and readiness to learn.
• Be vigilant to safeguarding, welfare or medical needs and follow school procedures, reporting concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, including tidying and resetting the area for the school day.

You will need to bring:

• A calm, caring and proactive approach with confidence managing groups of children.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to follow safeguarding and food hygiene procedures.
• Experience supporting or supervising children (as a parent/carer, club leader or in a school) is desirable.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 and First Aid certificates are desirable (or willingness to train).
