Overview
We are seeking a Breakfast Chef to join our team at the Dixie Dean Hotel, Liverpool. The Breakfast Chef will prepare a range of breakfast dishes according to menu specifications, manage the breakfast buffet, replenish it during service, and ensure all food is produced and presented to a high standard. The role may include assisting with kitchen preparation for conferences or events in the hotel. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in kitchen and food preparation areas and adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast dishes and manage the breakfast buffet according to the menu specifications.
- Replenish the buffet throughout breakfast service and ensure quality and presentation.
- Assist with kitchen preparation for conferences or events held within the hotel.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen and food preparation areas; comply with food safety and health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Breakfast Chef or similar role in a hotel or restaurant, with strong knowledge of breakfast cooking techniques and food preparation.
- Willingness to continually develop culinary skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions from senior chefs.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen, including adherence to food safety regulations and proper use of equipment and cleaning products.
- Good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required.
