Job description
Job Title: Breakfast and After School Club Assistant

Location: Rotherham

Start Date: Immediate

Salary: £13.69 - £14 per hour

TeacherActive is looking to take on a member of staff to support breakfast and after school club based in a welcoming primary school. The working hours are 7.30‑9.00am and 3‑6pm Monday to Friday, term‑time only.

The successful applicant will build great rapport with children and staff to ensure a positive atmosphere, engage with the children and ensure their safety and well‑being, communicate with parents about their children’s progression and concerns, and maintain a clean and organised space for activities.

Qualifications
  • Experience working with children (required)
  • Creative ideas for fun and educational activities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Driving licence (preferred)
  • Good listening and understanding skills
  • A kind and caring approach to children
  • Reliable and flexible
