Job summary

Love Childcare Recruitment is helping a boutique nursery in Barnes, SW London open in January 2027. We are seeking a warm, reliable Nursery Assistant to support the day-to-day care of children nine months to five years, joining a founding team to shape the setting's calm, attachment-informed culture.

The role offers full-time hours, with 7:30am-4:30pm or 9am-6pm shifts, on-site training starting in December, and a salary up to £32k plus ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous nursery/early years experience desirable.
• Level 3 Early Years qualification desirable.
• Fluency in English highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Care and supervision of children nine months to five years.
• Help create a calm, nurturing environment for play, learning and development.
• Build positive, responsive relationships with children.
• Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, sleep and personal care, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
