Brand Marketing Manager

Role & Purpose

The Brand Marketing Manager is a member of Volvo, Polestar, SEAT and CUPRA Management Team and will report to the Customer Communications Director. The Individual will also form part of a wider customer communications team and will work closely with the respective Franchise Managers for each brand and their responsible departments and managers.

The individual will devise and deliver marketing strategies for their franchise brand, across sales and service departments and other initiatives as required.

The individual will be responsible for enhancing their team's enquiry management process and reviewing customer communications, looking for opportunity to grow the database compliantly.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement marketing communications for Volvo, Polestar, SEAT and CUPRA that will assist in the achievement of their business and brand objectives.
  • Maintain a relationship with the manufacturers marketing departments, acting as the key contact keeping up to date with marketing related communications released by the brand.
  • Work with the Customer Communications Director and Franchise Manager to devise, prepare and execute promotional campaigns that are in line with divisional strategy.
  • Record all marketing activity in a detail marketing planner to return to the brand, and a copy to the Snows Brand Manager.
  • Generate new campaign events and create artwork for projects.
  • Select appropriate media channels for marketing campaigns based on budget and objectives.
  • Manage respective marketing budgets by brand and dealership.
  • Sign off invoices in a timely manner in line with the accounts departments requirements.
  • Develop, organise and oversee events as required and as detailed in marketing planners. Participate in the implementation of Group wide campaigns and events as organised by the Snows Brand Manager.
  • Identify and explore local opportunity the group may benefit from being involved in
  • Form a strong working relationship with Digital Marketing & DMS teams and dealership social media ambassadors. Supporting social media and blog content that can be used by the group Digital Marketing Executives, ensuring social media channels are being utilised for Brand PR purposes.
  • Audit the relevant content or campaign update for the group website for your respective brand, including new car offers.
  • Monitor and promote data capture across your dealerships in line with the group privacy policy.
  • Ensure communications are distributed correctly and in line with Snows customer contact plan and privacy policy.
  • Monitor levels of customer contact in order to ensure customers are contacted in a timely manner and not bombarded with promotional materials.
  • Assist all Managers with Enquiry Management and promote full utilisation of the Groups CRM systems.
  • Monitor and report on campaigns Return on Investment. Set up tracking facilities for campaigns. Keep a close eye on competitor activity and report on other local dealership activity to ensure our campaigns are competitive.
  • Assist with extensive preparations required for dealership or group events. Promote or assist with handling responses to dealership events as directed by your line manager.
  • Keep dealership personnel up to date with information on any marketing activity relevant to them.
  • Keep the Customer Communications Director, Franchise Managers and their wider departments up to date on information that is relevant to them.

Essential & Desirable Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Understanding and practical use of social media platforms including Facebook, TikTOk, Instagram & Linked In. PC, Microsoft, web literate.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within senior marketing role
  • Evidence of delivering on targets and meeting deadlines in a previous role

Desirable:

  • Completed a marketing-based qualification
  • Experience of automotive marketing
