About the role

As Brand Manager for Lipton, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our 2026 ambition in this newly created role. Supporting the Marketing Controller with the brand strategy, this role will be highly visible, leading Innovation projects and Activation campaigns.

This role reports to the Marketing Controller – Lipton & Robinsons RTD and will be key to our success journey, with opportunities to be involved in the following:

Role Responsibilities
  • Act as the guardian for the Lipton brand identity, delivering the brand for growth and positioning, creating and managing effective asset creation and approvals – bringing the brand to life across the commercial function to build engagement and inspire delivery.
  • Support in shaping and delivering the business agenda for Lipton through the development of business annual operating, marketing and commercial plans.
  • Work with Commercial Growth teams to create, communicate & align brand, commercial and category plans, setting the standards for how Lipton shows up along the off-trade path to purchase.
  • Lead extended cross-functional teams to become brand led, turning Lipton brand visions into reality, owning key brand metrics and connections to other functions.
  • Develop strong relationships with XF and PepsiCo/PLI teams to ensure great delivery outcomes in market, as well as building relationships with the Off & On Trade leadership teams to drive exceptional outcomes for Lipton in the channel.
  • Actively contribute to the Hydration Brand marketing team, supporting the Brand Manager’s and Assistant Brand managers where needed.
  • Manage agency relationships and motivate them (creative, activation, packaging) to produce exceptional work for Lipton.
  • Own delivery of brand AOP objectives, annual budget and provide input across total brand P&L, including consumer, shopper and customer investments.
  • Accountable for the in-year performance of Lipton KPI’s, partnering with Brand Operation colleagues to deliver clear and simple insight with actions where needed.
Experience and Key Attributes
  • Brand leadership experience is needed, preferably in FMCG, ideally working on a significant scale brand.
  • Experience leading and executive NPD launches to market with experience in A&P budget control.
  • High level of Brand P&L value management experience.
  • Experience of working with 3rd party creative and activation agencies.
  • Strong project management, planning and delivery skills.
  • Cross functional leadership capability, both internally and with 3rd party strategic partners.
  • Creativity in delivering an inspiring and compelling vision and brand strategy.
  • Experience in strategic brand and business planning with sound evidence of consumer & shopper insight-led strategy implementation.
  • Demonstrable track record of success driving a brand led agenda within commercial, matrix organisations, resulting in brand equity growth and enhanced business profitability.
  • XF team management experience with ability to inspire, grow and develop people in a matrix structure.
