Role Overview

As the Professional Brand Manager, you will be the visionary and commercial driver behind our professionally-focused toothpaste portfolio across the Northern Europe Hub (UK, Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland). You will lead market leadership, professional advocacy, strategic growth, external influence, and go-to-market ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Leadership: Drive all key performance indicators (KPIs), including market share growth, net sales, margin, and professional recommendation objectives.
  • Professional Advocacy: Strategically grow awareness and understanding of our product benefits among the dental profession to inspire and drive chairside recommendations.
  • Strategic Growth: Partner with the European team to assess opportunities, build a robust 5‑year innovation pipeline, and expand market demand.
  • External Influence: Liaise with and influence key external collaborators and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to build brand advocacy and inform our strategic direction.
  • Go‑to‑Market Ownership: Lead the end‑to‑end commercialisation and go‑to‑market strategy for all new product launches across Northern Europe.
  • Brand Strategy: Own the development and execution of the annual brand plan, securing alignment and consensus across all internal partners.
  • Commercial Execution: Create and implement targeted initiatives to drive volume and net sales growth across the Northern Europe Hub.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary communication point for the portfolio, developing compelling training and detailing materials for our internal teams (Oral Care Consultants, Customer Development).
  • Innovation & Launch: Lead the progression of NPD projects with the EU team and spearhead the local development and implementation of the go‑to‑market plan, including business case creation, forecasting, and launch approval.
  • Partnerships & Insights: Collaborate closely with the Northern Europe Professional Group Brand Manager and external agencies to identify market expansion opportunities using deep market insights.
  • Budget Management: Strategically manage the advertising and promotions (A&P) budget to ensure maximum return on investment.
  • Training & Empowerment: Partner with the Scientific Affairs team to lead comprehensive product training for our Oral Care Consultants, ensuring they are fully equipped with product and clinical knowledge.
  • Risk Management: Provide timely and transparent communication on all brand opportunities and challenges to the Group Brand Manager.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Education: A bachelor's degree is highly valued.
  • Experience: Previous experience in dental, healthcare, pharmaceutical marketing, or consumer health is a plus.
  • Foundational Knowledge: A solid foundation in basic (oral) health or life sciences is essential.
  • Commercial Acumen: Highly competent commercial and analytical skills with a track record of using data and insights to make informed decisions.
  • Leadership & Influence: A confident and compelling presence that quickly builds trust and respect with diverse internal teams and external dental professionals. You have the gravitas to challenge the status quo and successfully influence stakeholders at all levels.
