Job description

Marketing & Business Development Executive

Bleubird is Ireland's No. 1 Outdoor Lifestyle Brand. Now in our 8th year of trading, we supply over 250 retailers globally from our headquarters in Northern Ireland. With an average increase in sales of 40% YoY over the past 4 years we are firmly in an exciting period of growth which we forecast to continue.

We’re a small, tight-knit team doing big things, with a loyal customer base and a growing footprint across both D2C and B2B. We’re searching for someone with a passion for business, marketing and learning. The development of the Bleubird brand requires all areas of the business to be firing on all cylinders. You will be involved in many aspects of the business, however the focus will be on Marketing and Coordination. This role would suit someone who excels at execution, organisation, planning and initiative. You will potentially learn more from your first year at Bleubird than your next 5 years in a traditional professional environment.

Bleubird is growing. If successful, you will have the opportunity to grow with the company and develop your career in the area you enjoy the most within the business.

The Role

This is a hands‑on, detail‑oriented role for someone who thrives on organisation, follow‑through and has an eye for design/creativity. You’ll work closely with the Brand Director to plan, coordinate, and execute marketing and brand projects - from photoshoots to product launches, b2b communications, trade events, content rollouts, creator sourcing and communication, retail campaigns, social media and email management.

You don’t need to have studied marketing or have years of experience - what matters most is that you’re proactive, organised, have an eye for good design, strong communication, and have the ability to simply get things done. If you love organisation, enjoy a fast‑paced environment, and want to grow within an ambitious, creative brand where the sky is the limit - this could be for you.

This is a full‑time role based at our HQ of Ballyclare, Co. Antrim, N. Ireland.

Renumeration: Competitive, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to)
Planning & Coordination
  • Support the Brand Director in developing and delivering seasonal and ongoing marketing plans
  • Coordinate timelines, assets, and deliverables across internal and external teams
  • Keep campaigns on schedule and ensure all moving parts (content, web updates, emails, social, etc.) align and go live on time
  • Maintain an organised overview of all brand activity — launches, campaigns, and events
Content Organisation & Execution
  • Source, brief, and coordinate with content creators, photographers, and freelancers
  • Manage the flow of content — from shoot planning to file organisation and campaign rollout across all platforms, web, email, social, b2b, printed
  • Ensure all assets are delivered on time, correctly formatted, and on brand, ready for launch when required
  • Keep content libraries up to date and easy to navigate with consistent communication internally and externally with updates and newness
  • Coordinate point‑of‑sale (POS) and in‑store branding for retail partners
  • Assist with trade show preparation & retail launches
  • Help ensure brand consistency across all touch‑points, locally and internationally, digital and physical
Digital & Communication Support
  • Assist in planning and scheduling email and social campaigns
  • Keep the website updated with new content, imagery, and copy as needed
  • Liaise with freelancers or agencies when required to keep projects moving or source new content
  • Support reporting and insights by tracking campaign performance, key dates and web sales
Team & Administrative Support
  • Maintain marketing calendars, asset trackers, and shoot schedules
  • Coordinate logistics for photo/video shoots and events
  • Manage budgets, invoices, and timelines related to marketing projects
  • Provide general brand and marketing support where needed
  • Ensure wider team is aware of all relevant marketing activity
  • Exceptionally organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • A self‑starter who enjoys taking ownership and seeing things through
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good eye for design, aesthetics, and brand presentation
  • Comfortable collaborating with creatives and managing freelancers or suppliers
  • Positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for commuting and occasional shoots/events
  • Seniority level: Entry level
  • Employment type: Full‑time
  • Job function: Business Development and Sales
  • Industries: Retail Apparel and Fashion
