Job summary

The Works Stores Ltd. is hiring a Retail Sales Assistant for a temporary contract to be the face of the brand on the shop floor. You will deliver exceptional service, spark conversations and help customers find products that match their interests and gifts.

You’ll keep the store tidy, stocked and welcoming, and may support with cash handling as a Keyholder where applicable. You’ll join a team that values friendly, proactive engagement, teamwork and a positive attitude, with opportunities to grow

Qualifications

Experience in retail or customer service helpful.
Willingness to learn product ranges and promotions.
Ability to engage with customers and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Proactively approach and engage with customers and make helpful recommendations.
Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable customer experience.
Maintain store standards, merchandising and stock replenishment.
Operate tills accurately and handle transactions with care.
Support with deliveries, stockroom organisation and product availability.
Follow health and safety and loss-prevention procedures.
Open/close store securely and assist with cash handling as a Keyholder (if applicable).
