The Works in Royal Tunbridge Wells is seeking a Retail Sales Assistant on an 8 hour contract. As the face of our brand on the shop floor, you’ll deliver exceptional service, spark conversations and help customers find products they’ll love or gift ideas they’re seeking.

You’ll proactively engage with shoppers, make thoughtful recommendations, keep the store well-stocked and tidy, and support with deliveries and stockroom organisation. Being a Brand Ambassador starts with you.

Qualifikationen

• Retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Willing to learn and get involved to create an amazing customer experience.
• Able to stay organized in a busy store.
• Punctual and reliable with flexible shifts.
• Excellent communication and conversational skills.

Aufgaben

• Proactively approach and engage with customers and recommend products.
• Deliver a friendly, knowledgeable customer experience.
• Stay informed about products, promotions and services.
• Maintain store standards, merchandising, cleanliness and stock.
• Operate tills accurately and handle transactions.
• Assist with deliveries, stockroom organisation and product availability.
• Follow health and safety and loss prevention procedures.
• Work with your team to meet store targets and KPIs.
• Open and close the store as required if a Keyholder.
