Job summary

Travis Perkins Tavistock branch is seeking a proactive Branch Manager to lead a team of 10, build strong customer relationships, and ensure the branch stays profitable and safe.

You will drive sales, manage stock and deliveries, coordinate with purchasing and distribution, and foster a high‑performing, compliant culture that keeps customers coming back.

Working hours are Mon-Fri 7:30–17:00 with occasional Saturday shifts; a rewarding path with a leading UK builders’ merchant.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience managing a customer-facing team.
• Experience delivering sales targets and profitable operations.
• Strong communication with customers and suppliers.
• Ability to oversee stock, deliveries, safety, and day-to-day operations.
• Focus on health and safety and compliance.
