A leading recruitment agency is looking for a Branch Development Officer to join a not-for-profit organisation in Manchester. This full-time role involves building relationships with Branches, introducing new initiatives, and supporting their social engagement efforts. Applicants need strong communication skills, event organisation experience, and a clean UK driving license. Salary is between £32,000 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
We have an excellent opportunity for a Branch Development Officer to join one of the largest and oldest friendly societies in the UK as part of the Central Office team based in Manchester city centre.
Our client is an established not‑for‑profit organisation with 396,000 members, of which 42,250 access social events and care support through a thriving network of over 100 Branches across the UK. These are run mostly by volunteers and supported by a professional team in Manchester, their aim is to be the lifestyle membership of choice for the over 50s – helping members get more out of life with a compelling range of social, care and financial support.
As Branch Development Officer, you will be part of a small team providing professional guidance and support for Branches. The principal aim is to help and support them in delivering an attractive and accessible in‑person and online social proposition into the target market. You will :
