Job description

We are seeking a reliable and technically minded Brake Tester Engineer to join a well-established team servicing and maintaining garage equipment. This field-based role focuses specifically on brake testing systems, with full product training provided. Working from home, you'll cover sites within roughly a one-hour travel radius. The role is day-based with no overnight stays or on-call requirements, offering genuine work-life balance. All travel time is fully paid, with optional overtime available.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, repair, and calibrate brake testing equipment at customer sites
  • Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out corrective maintenance
  • Deliver high-quality customer service while working independently
  • Accurately complete service documentation and reports
Requirements
  • Mechanical or technical background (apprenticeship, NVQ, or similar)
  • Hands-on experience in maintenance, servicing, or repairs
  • Previous experience with garage equipment is a bonus, but not essential
  • Willingness to learn - full product training will be provided
  • Good communication skills and solid spoken/written English
  • Full UK driving licence
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
