We are currently seeking experienced Brake Systems Engineers to support a number of exciting rail and rolling stock projects across the UK.

We are open to both contract and permanent appointments, with salaries and day rates negotiable depending on experience, technical expertise and project requirements.

The Role

We are looking for engineers with direct, demonstrable experience working with rail braking systems. This is a specialist position, so candidates must have genuine hands‑on engineering experience within brake systems rather than general rolling stock experience alone.

Depending on the project, responsibilities may include:

• Brake system design and development
• Pneumatic and electro-pneumatic braking systems
• Brake control systems and components
• Brake performance calculations and analysis
