Press Brake Setter – Southam (Warwick Area)

Hours/Shift: Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week.

Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour.

Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Brake Press Setter to join a well‑established fabrication company in the Southam/Warwick area. This is a full‑time, permanent role offering day shifts and consistent weekly hours. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating Amada press brake machines, working to precise tolerances and ensuring smooth workflow for the fabrication team.

Key Duties
  • Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to produce high‑quality components.
  • Interpret and work from technical drawings and detailed measurements.
  • Perform first‑off inspections and ensure parts meet specification.
  • Maintain workflow by working from a folded list to supply welders with parts.
  • Maintain machine condition and keep work area clean and organised.
Requirements
  • Proven experience setting and operating press brake machinery.
  • Familiarity with Amada, Bystronic, or Trumpf machines preferred.
  • Strong ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar precision metalworking role.
  • Reliable, self‑motivated, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
