Main duties of the job

As a Live-In Carer, you'll live in the client's home for a minimum of two weeks at a time, working in rotation with another carer. You'll provide personalized care and support, promoting independence while offering help when needed. This includes assisting with daily activities, personal care, hobbies, outings, and social connections. You'll need to be a confident driver, resilient and adaptable, and have a strong sense of boundaries and balance. Experience in supporting individuals with brain injuries, neurological conditions, or complex care needs is desirable but not essential.

About the Role

As a Live-In Carer, you’ll:

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • A confident driver (experience with wheelchair-accessible vehicles is a plus).
  • Resilient and adaptable, comfortable spending extended time away from home.
  • Warm, patient, and professional, with a strong sense of boundaries and balance.
  • Experienced in supporting individuals with brain injuries, neurological conditions, or complex care needs (desirable but not essential).
  • Due to the nature of the requirement of intimate care, we require a female carer to join the team.
  • Experience of moving and handling would be desirable.
