Brainkind in Glasgow is seeking a Rehabilitation Support Worker to provide personalised care for adult residents at Graham Anderson House. You will follow individual support plans to help people gain independence, with a varied schedule including activities, meals, hygiene, exercise and socialising. Training is provided and DBS/PVG checks are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months UK care experience.
• Genuine empathy for residents with patience and resilience.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with colleagues.
• Excellent face-to-face communication skills and literacy.
• Good time management and ability to prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised support to adult residents following individual plans.
• Develop independent living skills (hygiene, meals, exercise, leisure).
• Organise and participate in activities (art, crafts, sports, shopping, gym).
• Support residents to gain confidence to live independently.
